Community Guidelines

At Love That Pet we are committed to creating an open, engaging and truly awesome community space for you to share everything you love about your furry, feathery or leathery best friends.

With this in mind we would like to share with you a few basic rules to help ensure we all take good care of each other and – most importantly – have fun!

It’s All About You And Your Pets

Let’s face it – we all absolutely adore our pets – so we’d like to invite you to spread the love by sharing your pet experiences and insights with other pet parents via our blogs, forums and social media channels. From images and videos to questions and answers – the more experiences we share, the richer the community will be for everyone.

We’ll also be doing our very best to bring you the latest pet news, views and entertainment from around the web to help keep you and your pet happy and healthy.

With this in mind please try to keep your discussions and content you share relevant and try to remain as on topic as possible. We would also encourage you to read all the posts on a page before commenting to ensure vibrant and continuous dialogue between members.

Keep It Paw-sitive

Unconditional love – it’s a pretty high standard – and yet it’s one that our pets live up to each and every day. That’s why we ask that you take a leaf out of your pet’s playbook and simply – “be nice to each other” – we’ll all have a lot of fun that way!

Whilst we hope we never have to, we will remove any content that is offensive, inappropriate or breaches our Terms & Conditions and repeat offenders will be removed.

We’re All Purr-fectly Different

Our pets come in all shapes and sizes – and so do our backgrounds and opinions. Diversity is a good thing – not only does it make life more interesting and way more fun – it’s also a chance for us all to learn new ways to connect with, and care for, our ‘furry, feathery or leathery’ family members.

Remember to be constructive with your feedback – the goal should always be to foster healthy conversation and debate without resorting to personal attacks. If you wouldn’t say it about your beloved pet, don’t say it about someone else.

Be Your Paw-some Self

People will respect you more, engage with you more often, and treat you like a real person if you use your actual identity. Have the courage to be you — instead of “PawPal70″.

While not mandatory, we think you’ll have a much better online experience when you stand behind your actual words. This also means ensuring you use just the one account when participating in the Love That Pet community.

No Hawking

Whilst we are more than happy for you to talk about the pet products and services you love to use, please refrain from using our forums and blogs as an advertising board.

If you have a product or service you think might be of interest to the community please reach out to us via our Contact Us form and we can explore opportunities for sharing them with our community.

It’s Your Community

We’re here to help you be awesome pet parents. If you have a suggestion for the community, you see something you’d like to address or you are in need of technical support, please feel free to drop us a line via our Contact Us form and one of our team members will get back to you shortly.
